about the NEO PSP converter/pad speed
if you want to play the MP3/MP4,you should upgrade your PSP bios to 2.0 , it's common sense
and here is some comparison:
I got my 2in1 4gig today now as well, and I did some tests with the MSTest 0.1 app from here
http://pspupdates.qj.net/2006/01/mstest-v10-for-psp-new-memory-stick.html
a direct comparison to the users post on the datel 4gig
(real time tests with a homebrew app running on the PSP, times are averaged across 64 read/write samples):
Datel 4GB hdd:
File size = 64MB Write = 1.791 MB/s (35.86719s)5 chunks Write = 1.720 MB/s (18.60938s)3 chunks Write = 1.168 MB/s (9.89062s)2 chunks Write = 1.542 MB/s (5.18750s)1 chunks File size = 0MB/1KB Write = 0.005 MB/s (0.19661s)1 chunks |
Talismoon Neo 2in1 + included Magicstor 4GB hdd: File size = 64MB Write = 1 Read = 1 Write = 2.214MB/s (28.91102s)5 chunks Write = 2.146 MB/s (14.91290s)3 chunks Write = 2.195 MB/s (7.28857s)2 chunks Write = 2.225 MB/s (3.59668s)1 chunks File size = 0MB/1KB Write = 0.004 MB/s (0.27441s)1 chunks |
also, it would seem the PSP thinks the drive is a MS pro… pretty decent speeds though, considering MagicStor's spec on this drive. Wow, does this 2in1 ever get warm after some tests….
